Your two-day adventure in the heart of the Swiss Alps, combining invigorating hikes with the unique charm of mountain hut life.

Day 1

Lidernenhütte

Your journey begins at Brunnen station, followed by a scenic PostBus ride to Riemenstalden. A cable car then whisks you up towards Lidernen station, setting the stage for a rewarding 3-hour ascent to the Lidernenhütte. Traverse beautiful alpine pastures and a unique karst plateau. Upon arrival, enjoy tea and Nussgipfel on the terrace, followed by free time to explore the rocky surroundings. The evening culminates with a delicious 4-course hut dinner prepared by the warden, under a canopy of stars.

Day 2

Lauerzersee

Wake up to a hearty breakfast buffet at the hut, complete with a liter of hiker's tea to fuel your day. We'll embark on a shorter ridge walk before descending through the picturesque Riemenstalden valley. By 2:30 PM, you'll take the cable car down and catch the PostBus back to Brunnen. For a perfect end to the weekend, there's an optional swim at Lauerzersee on the way home, perhaps paired with a lakeside ice cream, before catching your train home in the evening.
