What's Included
Your package includes twin-room accommodation, coordinator support throughout the journey, local partner assistance for emergencies and all main intercity high-speed train transfers. It also covers the core guided experiences and entrance tickets in Beijing, Xi’an, Chengdu, Wulingyuan, and Zhangjiajie, plus private railway station-hotel transfers in Furong. Not Included
Flights & Extras
International flights to and from China are NOT included. Return flights from Zurich typically cost 650–950 CHF in Economy for late October — book 3–4 months in advance for the best fares.
The following items are not included and can be arranged independently:
• Visa — not required. Swiss, Italian and most EU passport holders enter China visa-free for up to 30 days. Just bring your passport.
• Travel insurance — we recommend a policy covering cancellation and medical evacuation. Budget 60–120 CHF depending on age and coverage.
• Meals — Food in China is very affordable: expect 15–35 CHF/day depending on the city, with Shanghai being the most expensive.
• Tianmen Mountain (Day 11) — the one activity not covered by the package. Budget 50–65 CHF for the full experience including the world's longest cable car and glass walkway. Highly recommended.
• Local transport — all major transfers are included. For independent exploration, China's city metros cost around 0.30 CHF per ride. Budget 20–45 CHF total for the trip.
• Connectivity - Install a VPN before departure (Google, WhatsApp, and Instagram are blocked in China). An international eSIM is recommended for data — budget 15–25 CHF for 15 days.
• Personal shopping and additional hotel services.
