The following items are not included and can be arranged independently:

• Visa — not required. Swiss, Italian and most EU passport holders enter China visa-free for up to 30 days. Just bring your passport.

• Travel insurance — we recommend a policy covering cancellation and medical evacuation. Budget 60–120 CHF depending on age and coverage.

• Meals — Food in China is very affordable: expect 15–35 CHF/day depending on the city, with Shanghai being the most expensive.

• Tianmen Mountain (Day 11) — the one activity not covered by the package. Budget 50–65 CHF for the full experience including the world's longest cable car and glass walkway. Highly recommended.

• Local transport — all major transfers are included. For independent exploration, China's city metros cost around 0.30 CHF per ride. Budget 20–45 CHF total for the trip.

• Connectivity - Install a VPN before departure (Google, WhatsApp, and Instagram are blocked in China). An international eSIM is recommended for data — budget 15–25 CHF for 15 days.
