Here's what 9 days in Egypt look like, day by day.

Day 1

Cairo

Arrive at Cairo International Airport (CAI), where you'll be met and transferred to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy your first evening in Egypt's bustling capital, perhaps with an optional dinner overlooking the Nile.

Day 2

Cairo

Today, journey to the iconic Giza Plateau to marvel at the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, and the enigmatic Sphinx. Explore the ancient wonders and learn about their construction and history. Optional camel ride for panoramic views.

Day 3

Cairo

Visit the world-renowned Egyptian Museum, home to an unparalleled collection of ancient artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun. Later, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, a historic souk offering unique souvenirs and local crafts.

Day 4

Luxor

Take an early morning flight to Luxor, the site of ancient Thebes. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the afternoon, explore the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex and the beautiful Luxor Temple on the East Bank of the Nile.

Day 5

Luxor

Cross to the West Bank of the Nile to discover the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs were buried in elaborate tombs. Visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, a stunning mortuary temple, and see the Colossi of Memnon.

Day 6

Nile River

Begin your serene Nile River cruise. Enjoy the scenic views as you sail south. Stop to visit the well-preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu and the unique double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek and Horus.

Day 7

Aswan

Arrive in Aswan, a city rich in Nubian culture. Visit the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and the impressive Aswan High Dam. Enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile, soaking in the tranquil surroundings.

Day 8

Cairo

Fly back to Cairo from Aswan. Depending on your flight schedule, you might have free time for last-minute souvenir shopping or an optional extension to a Red Sea resort for snorkeling/diving (additional cost). Enjoy a farewell dinner in Cairo.

Day 9

Cairo

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport (CAI) for your departure, taking with you unforgettable memories of Egypt's ancient wonders and vibrant culture.
